About Starry Knight Design
Founded by Melanie in 2008, Starry Knight Design is a small, woman-owned business in Montana. Our team of local women handmakes soft sole leather baby and toddler shoes in small batches, cutting and sewing every pair by hand from 100% high-quality leather and suede.

Made to order, made to last
Every pair is made to order in small batches, so we only cut what we need. Leftover leather is reused for small items, our leather comes from reputable suppliers that meet high European standards, and your order ships in plastic-free product packaging inside recycled mailers. Genuine leather wears in, not out, so your pair can be passed down to siblings.

Love the Sienna color and buttery soft leather—these go with so many outfits and always get compliments! Bought the size recommended after measuring, and little one has been able to wear them for 3+ months now, since the straps and stretch help keep them on as the feet grow. Look forward to buying more!

LOVE! Super soft shoes, so easy to put on and they stay on! No dealing with buckles on a toddler. Sienna is the perfect color for fall. We added the runner soles this time and they seem great!
